We got married!!

Hi all!!

Just popping in quick to let you all know.

My manager and I got married this morning.

Jason and I were married by a justice of the peace at city hall this morning with my folks and my daughter and her BF as witnesses..It was very small as we could not do more,but it was PERFECT! His mom was on the cell ph on speaker ph listening to the vows,and we heard her sniffling! it was awesome!!

Hi All!!
I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and New Year! My Christmas was AWESOME,my boss/fiancee was down for Christmas and we and the the kids went to my parents place for the afternoon and then dinner.

Following day ex had the kids and Jason and i enjoyed a private Christmas just the two of us,turkey dinner,wine and so on.
Career wise this past yr has been down right awful,I have sold ONE item this entire yr,it is frustrating to say the least.Considering besides child support it is my sole source of income.Being a stay at home mom is certainly challenging and I won't say it is not harder then even I can handle some days,and some days i simply do NOT handle it well.I put on Enya,light some incense and "zone" with some tea,but it is and always has been worth it.
Here's hoping the New Year brings some much needed relief on that front professionally and personally i have some big steps I am hoping to take in 2010.
I hope your new yr is healthy,blessed and most of all full of love!

Happy Fall

Here is fall I know many of you are still in late summer temps,but here fall has definitely arrived.We even had snow (briefly) it only lasted a few hrs.

I am slowly getting ready for Christmas(and Yule)I celebrate both in  my house.The fall and Halloween decs are slowly coming down and I am making space and cleaning for winter.

Included in the cleaning is me..I am on a vegetarian diet now it has been only a few weeks but there is a major change in my appearance and in how i feel. But WOW is it hard.

My boss/fiancee was down for the week this week and i cheated a little then,meat is SO hard to stay away from when feeding 6 kids and a hungry man lol!

In other news we had a H1N1 scare here in September my 11 yr old daughter had it.She was fine though,very very sick for 5 days refusing food and throwing up,for 5 straight days..But it never got to the point I had to bring her in Thank God. I was up with her 24/7 morning noon and night giving liquids and food every half hr or so,it was bad,but we got thru it without hospital(she never displayed the warning signs that say bring the person in blue lips,trouble breathing etc..)

I and the other kids cannot get a shot as i have no car or ability to wait in line for 5-6 hrs..So we are being extra vigilant, but not halting regular life.

Halloween was VERY slow here due to the H1N1 we had maybe 15 kids and last yr it was about 45.

I know you all(americans) have a thanksgiving coming up(ours was in Oct) so i'd like to take a moment to wish you and yours a FANTASTIC,happy and blessed thanksgiving..

I will probably be on here before then but in case I'm not,be blessed all of you!

New horizon's new frontiers!
canada Day is almost upon us and i will be with my manager tomorrow and on Canada Day on Wed..
So may not be back here before then..I know I have a few Canadian followers so just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA!!

Well  you all fill in the blanks ;-)
What are you all doing today? Are your kidlets out of school yet? Two of mine are..The others are in elementary school and jr high still.
They get out Thursday.

Expected to be another blistering hot day,here in the capital.To you friendly americans south of me,that would be ohh about in the upper 90's F to you..Although Thursday is expected to be 100F here..Yes that is normal(for me lol!) I am blessed with central air thank gods but no pool,yuck.

Well soon enough i will have 6 wet youngins as even yesterday they broke out the twisty kiddie sprinkler that twists like a snake and splashes them,they LOVED it!
My oldest were not home out with their young men as usual.But my did my lawn get watered LOL!

Baking and sweltering my oh my, maybe i need to pick up some more popsicles?(make a mental note)

I am heading that way anyways,on my way to enroll my oldest son in a 10 day course at his school for this summer..It is to improve his weak spots in math and english. He is NOT happy lol!
It is only 10 days though so that is ok.. Then he goes to sailing camp a day camp for 5 days.. I get little breaks here and there ;-)But stay at home moms are "on" 24/7 365 are we not? ;-)
